I haven't been updating this like i should. I forgot I watched Black Swan last Wednesday. It was a complete mind altering movie. disturbing, painful to watch, not because of the acting or anything but just the over all visual images. It literally made me want to throw up a few times and I think Cam flinched a few times too. But it was a great movie in the end. Would i watch it again? Hell no.
I also watched Tron and that movie was okay in my book. The only negative thing i had to say about it was the love story and the length. It could have been shorter.

I'm trying to watch the new Robin Hood movie  with Russell Crowe and Kate Blanchette and it's so boring that I've stopped watching. =( What a waste of blockbuster dvds.

Being on a plane for 10+ hours gives you ample opportunity to catch up on the latest new releases.
Lucky for me, I was on British Airways and they had a great selection to choose from. Between Cam and I, we managed to watch most of our Blockbuster online picks and had to update our que.
I fell in love with Despicable Me. That movie is adorable! You fall in love with the little yellow guys called Minions. I also watched Eclipse (snooze fest, I have no idea why people love that move. Let alone the books), Iron Man 2 (I love John Favreau, great actor), Sorcerers Apprentice (Nicholas Cage needs to get out of his overly intense quick spoken type cast films), Get Him to the Greek (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this film. Russell Brand is hilarious and P. Diddy stole the film. "Furry Walls"...), Inception (hard to watch on such a small screen, I highly suggest watching at home in a quiet room...) Karate Kid (took a while to get to the good stuff, but when it did get to the good stuff, it was worth watching. I kinda felt they could of gotten a better actor for Daniel-san's character. Mr. Myagai (who was played by Jackie Chan) was perfect for this film, lets see.. what else did I see? Um.. Oh The Last Airbender (I didn't even finish it, I think I stopped it at 20mins..) Salt (so worth watching, I was kind of anti-Angelina Jolie for awhile but this film blew me away. So many twists and turns). .. and last but not least, Prince of Persia. That's a good kids movie as well..
We finally got home and watched How to Train a Dragon, now that is an fun family movie. So that's the list!

I gave in and started a subscription to Blockbuster.com and whoa! I actually received the movies I wanted to see. I rented Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Repo Men. Let start with Prince of Persia. It was pretty much a real life Aladdin. Poor kid, gets rich, saves the world, fights a bunch of people and gets a princess. Done.  I just saved you a good hour of your time. It was a cute movie and if it were on tv, I'd watch it.
Repo Men on the other hand, I want my life back. That was the dumbest movie and the ending will make you so annoyed that you watched it. It just became TOO much. Similar to the latest Resident Evil movie. You watch it thinking, how the hell could that happen? Repo the Genetic Opera which is a little similar is WAY better. Mainly because the acting is better and there's singing!

I'm in love with shows like Repo! Even Paris Hilton as Amber Sweet couldn't ruin it for me. I thought it was creative and well written. It didn't get all the credit it deserved. But, neither did Colma the Musical. Lol. Yes, I watched that too. The characters in Repo were perfect and Sarah Brightman as Blind Mag? Awesome! The costumes, designs and music, blew me away. Highly recommended.

Cam had free movie tickets and snacks coupons so we watched Clash of the Titans. The choice between 3D or 2D is getting annoying. I hate 3D, I hate the price, the dizziness and headaches after. I just don't like it. The movie itself was pretty good. I liked the story line, didn't really like the ending but I guess it's all a matter of opinion. I wanna see the original again just to compare and contrast. Mads Mikkelsen was great in this movie and I hope his career grows even more. Gemma Arterton was great too and I can't wait to see her in Prince of Persia. I feel like she's been type casted and is now in all these epic history/fight movies. 

Netflix sent me some random movie that I don't even remember putting on my que. I still hate them and can't believe I forgot to cancel my subscription on Feb 14. UGH. Anyways, they sent us this movie called Carriers that stars Chris Pine, Piper Perabo and Emily Van Camp.. OH and Stabler (or real name Christopher Meloni) from my favorite tv show Law & Order, SVU. Pretty bad movie. 4 people seeking refuge from some crazy disease that they didn't really explain how it came about or why they were the last four around, etc. I hate those kind of movies. How hard is it to stop and think.. maybe we should have put a introduction, maybe we should have built a character background, how bout an actual ending? Not this.. well, lets just leave it to the viewers to "think" what might have happened in the end. Ugh, no wonder it went straight to dvd. Chris Pine, you're in Star Trek. You really should have thought this movie out before starring in it.

Ok, I know I should post reviews on Hawaii but I watched so many movies that I had to post these.

The Hangover - FINALLY! I finally saw this damn movie. They had it in those 1.25 rental booths at Safeway. It was exactly what I expected it to be, amazing. The random Ken Jeong (Mr. Chow) nudity was kinda weird but Ian Anthony Dale - (sexy Asian man) Mr. Chow's #1 was in the movie and I was stoked. That dude is very handsome. And I hardly think any men, besides my Cam is handsome. The character Alan pretty much made the movie. I loved it.

Baby Mama - Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the dynamic duo in this movie. Great chick flick! *Side note, I started noticing the lack of Asian people in films. How many in this movie? None. =(

Whip It - Why does Ellen Page (Bliss Cavendar or Babe Ruthless) seem to be the same awkward character in every movie. Hard Candy, JUNO, I mean come on! Can't she do anything else? And Drew Barrymore acting like this doped up rocker. I still liked the movie but I could of done without the love scene. The characters are all strong women so that's always a PLUS in my book. Oh, AND seriously? JIMMY FALLON? Why is he still acting? He's so annoying! Asian people in the movie - I think I saw maybe one but she didn't count because they only showed her for a few seconds on the opposing scene. How many other ethnic women were in there? Eve as Rosa Sparks. And she had blonde hair. Boo

Where the Wild Things Are - snooze fest, and creepy. I could not finish the movie it was to weird.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightening Thief - Great family movie, story is well written, characters are well developed and is jam packed with action!

Updates on Netflix, called their 800# and complained about not receiving "The Hangover" and she said... well, sometimes you need to move it down on your que. Which is weird because well.. You put it on there because you want to watch it. I didn't put it as #1 so it'll continuously get passed up. Then she told me to change the order of my movies completely and have the movies I don't really want to see on top of the list and everything else on the bottom. What the heck kind of advice is that? I'll be seeing you soon Blockbuster. Once again, I hate Netflix.

I could probably write an entire series just devoted to how much I hate Netflix. Still no Hangover and on top of that, 11 dvd's on the que. They sent us the LAST ONE, and only one. Lame. Here's the reviews on the last few movies:

Netflix has been dropping the ball lately so I'm planning on canceling my account as of February 12th. We've been waiting for The Hangover since it first released to dvd which was September 2009. And YES, it's January 2010. They obviously SUCK big time.

So I was on the set of Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Whiterspoon. Too bad I was to short to actually be in the scene. BUT! You can see my head on the bottom corner. Yep, I'm famous! just kidding. I still haven't even seen this movie.
