So next week Cam & I are going to NYC. Staying at a fabulous hotel in Times Square. Then we come back and we're off to London/Amsterdam for a few days. Then we're off to Safari West a few weeks later. OMG. It's gonna be a good month. Then we're going to Hawaii in December. So much good stuff to look forward to. =)

I'm dropping weight. Its amazing. Go Me!

After 5 hours of class, I am officially CPR and First Aid Certified. It was totally worth taking and knowing that I could possibly save a life is an amazing thought. The class itself was very informative and really exhausting. Pushing on this plastic dummy was harder than I thought. I mean, it seems real easy until you realize that you have to push it over and over.. 30 pushes, 2 breaths. Repeat. I'm telling you, hard. lol. But in the end, it was fun and I'm glad I did it.

If anyone saw last Tuesday's episode and wants to give me play by play details and would like to skip all of Kurt/dad's hospital stuff, I'd really appreciate. Thanks.

I just realized the amount of sarcasm that comes out of my mouth on a daily. What happened to the days when people said something and completely meant it. I read blogs written by friends and I think to myself...  Is that suppose to be funny? I don't get it?

"my body hurts so bad it felt like I was beat up by a bunch of pre-schoolers"...
"my eyes hurt so bad it's like I have potato chips in my eyes"...

I mean seriously? Is that suppose to be humorous? Because I don't get it. But there are a few out there that do.. which makes you wonder? Did I lose my funny bone or am I too old to get their jokes?

... ps..  neither, they're just lame.

Tonight's Dmas & Grace's dress rehearsal. I can't believe they're getting married. Actually, I can. Anyways, I went to the dog park and now have nice gigantic bug bites all over. That'll look good with the dress. ugh, awesome

someone left the company earlier this week. Or was it last? I dunno. Anyways, you never realize how dirty people are until you are left with their crap. I opened a drawer today and inside was receipts, tickets, airline info, just piles of paper. Not stacked, just crumpled. All thrown in a metal drawer. I mean, come on? How hard is it to throw those away?
Cam & I watched Hoarders last night and we realized that we could possibly be shopping with/next to Hoarders every time we walk into a Marshall's or Target. Those crazy ladies that are screaming "oooh look at this Billabong shirt for $1.79! what a deal!" And those crazy cat lovers out there, possible hoarders. Geeze. People weird me out.

I had to switch from an HP to a Mac today at work. I'm not too happy with that but I have no choice considering we ran out of HP's. Boo. My wrist hurts from laying it on this gigantic gap of a wrist space. I finally got to see the "photobooth" thing everyone's always using for their facebook pictures. other than that, I just see this thing as a nice computer to watch movies on. =)
On a side note, I bought this Trader Joe's Coffeehaus Low Fat Yogurt, holy crap it's disgusting. I highly recommend you don't buy it. Unless you like sour chocolate than go ahead.

People bug me when they say, oh my nephew, or my niece, or my god daughter/son.. etc. When I know for a fact that they 1, have no brothers or sisters or 2, aren't really the god parents and just happened to be at the christening/baptismal. and they're saying it just to be cute. SO, here's the definition of each. Just a FYI. lol

1. niece [niːs] a daughter of one's sister or brother
2. nephew [ˈnɛvjuː ˈnɛf-] a son of one's sister or brother
3. Godparent A godparent, in many denominations of Christianity, is someone who sponsors a child's baptism. Judaism has this equivalent in the circumcision ceremony. A male godparent is a godfather and a female godparent is a godmother. The child is a godchild (godson, goddaughter)

I have this problem with Starbucks lately. All I want is a tall iced toffee mocha. And what have I gotten?

2. tall toffee mocha frap
3. tall toffee mocha frap with whip
4. tall iced mocha
5. tall iced toffee mocha with whip (oh so close!)

They can't get my order right. It's depressing.

for reminding me about what I have and haven't worn, who's seen me in it and where I wore it to. Thank you for being okay with my secret wish to wear something comfortable enough for me to jump, kick and fight my way to getting that bouquet. People don't use the word dweeb often enough. And it's such an amazing word. It perfectly describes the average yelper. We had a late dinner at Lime last night and we were sitting next to this portly, you can tell he was extremely uncomfortable, man. While his family was enjoying their dinner, he was on yelp. What a dweeb. Probably taking photos of his food, critiquing the spot & its food using words like "robust", "flavorful" and "pleather". haha. I'm telling you, Dweeb. Yelpers are so irritating. Incapable of being social that they use yelp to voice their opinions without any consequences. I mean, anyone can talk the talk if they're behind a computer screen. One last time, lets all say it. Dweeb. Thanks Yelp for not screening a majority of your reviews and letting people rate their experiences on 1) what the person looked like 2) the lack of parking 3) the person gave them a stink face therefor they get 1 star. You stupid stupid group of people. Shame on you.

I hate helpless people. I can't stand when something so easy as driving to the store or calling a person is SO difficult. My sister is one of those people. She needs to call the Pacific Police Department to get a police report. She can't seem to do it because "she doesn't know how". How hard is it to Google the Pacifica Police? OR better yet, call the damn number the police officer probably gave her. OMG. That just blows my mind.

Dear Activia, 

We had lunch today at Crepevine in downtown Burlingame. I bought the veggie burger which was just a veggie patty mush. It fell apart the moment I started biting into it. Kinda gross. I usually like Crepevine because the portions are really big and it has outdoor seating so you can people watch. We took Roscoe with us and he caused the biggest foot traffic congestion on Burlingame Ave. Every few seconds was a question about Roscoe's age, how big will he get, how old, etc. Imagine trying to eat like that. What was worse was that we were sitting right at the front door so people were constantly walking in and out of the place.

I usually just go to the same stores on this street but this time we made our way a little further. I finally stepped into an Ann Taylor Loft which OMG was way cheaper than Ann Taylor. Yeah, I didn't know that. Well, I bought a nice petite purple sweater and some cargo pants. Luckily for me, the pants were an additional 20 or 30% off. I also bought a nice scarf at Therapy another amazing store. I wanted to buy everything in there! I've been in the process of making the apartment girl friendly. Less dark colors and more frills. Lol. I finally got most of the closet under control and have all my accessories organized. We also stopped by Tea Cake and got some yummy desserts. First time I actually bought a mini cupcake which was MORE than enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. Last but not least, I got Cam a nice brown henley from American Apparel. I know how he's been on the hunt for one and we finally got one in his size. And now we're back at home and all the kids are passed out. I on the other hand am flipping through the Ikea magazine, web surfing on Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters trying to find more furniture and household wares. Oh and watching Underworld: Rise of the Lycans on Encore. Talk about multi-tasking. What the hell did people do with out all this technology?

Veggie Mush @ Crepe Vine Burlingame, CA

There are TONS of calorie counting sites, apps, etc on the web. But is it really worth doing? Yes and no. I wanted to start doing it this month just to see what I've been consuming. I started yesterday and holy crap. It's pretty bad. This morning alone, I had already consumed 450 calories on just 2 granola bars and a yogurt. Two things you'd think we're very good & healthy for you. It's kind of mind blowing to see what you take in during the day. Factor that and not working out. People wonder why they gain weight. I have a few more months til I leave for Hawaii. I might as well start now and get to bikini shape. The right way! It does get a little tedious writing everything down but hopefully this will work out.

Have you noticed? It's freaking 902010 today! Yes I'm that bored.
