Desserts x Marzipan
So apparently Santa Claus is not a rolly polly white dude in the Netherlands! And his name is Sinter Klaus. I loved the whimsical version better than the US one that we always see. They also seem to love their marzipan (which I love too) and it's sold everywhere! It's kind of fun explaining stuff to Cam and him wondering how I even know what that stuff is. Like marzipan? How many people actually know what that is? lol.

The one thing I really fell in love with about London was the waffles. Fresh made, sugary, crispy goodness. Wonder Waffles was conveniently located next to the London Eye and the London Aquarium.

When's the last time you had a fruit roll up? It's been forever and it still tastes the same. Like fruit flavored rubber. Simply Fruit by Fruit Roll Ups are a new healthier line claiming to have 90% fruit juice. Here are the ingredients: (seems healthy enough)
Simply Fruit: Apple Juice Concentrate, Dried Apples, Strawberry Puree, Canola Oil. Contains 2% or Less of: Fruit Pectin, Lemon Juice Concentrate and Blueberry Juice Concentrate Added for Color, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Natural Flavor, Sodium Sulfite and Citric Acid Added to Protect Color.
San Franola GRANOLA GOLD!
Walking down Burlingame Ave's farmers market, Cam & I stumbled upon a granola stand. *we didn't really stumble, they called us a "happy looking granola couple".. which we are.. lol. Anyways, the granola was delicious and raisin free. SOLD! $6.00 per bag or 2 for $10. I bought one to try it out. I'll probably end up going back next week.

Yogurtouille
Yogurtouille had a new flavor called Hawaii Delight, which Cam said tasted like a Big Stick. I wish they stuck to more regular flavors like strawberry because they're special flavors are kinda gross. Cam went the chocolate route and I went fruity. In the end, we were too stuffed from dinner and we didn't even finish our fro-yo.
Lucy Activewear, Sweet Surrender, Beard Papas
I recently bought this runners tank top from this store called Lucy. I am completely in love with it. It has a built in sports bra, this cool zippered pocket on the back of the tank so I was able to hold my drivers licence, credit card and keys! I originally planned to run these steps at the beach down the street from my house. I forgot that that entire place is under construction because the cliff is breaking apart and all the apartments were vacated on that hill. I was pretty upset because I loved those stairs! It was the perfect place to run up and down because you had a breath taking view coming down because it over looked the beach, and an equally amazing view coming up because you saw all the rock formations, plants and the occasional squirrel. So, I drove the opposite direction and ending up running the Promenade on Beach Blvd. Here's an actual map of the location. I ran from the Municipal Fishing Pier to the Danger Cliffs. I wish I knew how far it was because the run/walk/crawl back was painful!
After my run, I grabbed coffee from Bean Street Coffee & Beard Papa's with Chiara & Izelle. Perfect weather, location, snacks and friends to spend the day with. We caught up on what happened over the weekend, cleared up some wrong information and just enjoyed the rare sunshine!
Cam came home around 7, I picked him up and immediately went to the PJCC for his basketball game. Which they won so congrats to them! Grabbed food from Tai Wu on the way home, had a nice dinner which included Sweet Surrender cupcakes from The Palazzo. Sweet Surrender is famous for their $750 cupcake. YES, a $750 cupcake. Chatted for a bit and then passed out. It's good to have everything back to normal.
First stop Mickey Ice Cream!
First snack stop, Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream. (Ice Cream Sandwich for Cam & Ice Cream Bar for me!) Too bad they were both hard as a rock and mines ended up breaking. Cam was waiting for me to spill something on my white shirt.. BUT, it never happened. They seriously make a lot of snacks shaped like Mickey's head. Rice Crispy treats, Lollipops, Marshmallow Lollipops, my favorite the Candy apple, Cookies - I wanted one but Cam told me it's just a sugar cookie with a chocolate Mickey face, and the list goes on!
Mini Eggs!
Expensive Ice Cream
I wanted ice cream, LIKE always. So I grabbed a cone at Haagen Dazs in the mall Ala Moana Center. Holy Crap. $4.90 for a single scoop in a waffle cone. I should of just bought a pint at Longs or something. lol.
Pasalubongs!
Pasalubong is the tagalog word for presents. Here are the requested snacks from Hawaii that I was suppose to get for a few friends. I should of bought stuff for myself. =( I ♥ snacks.
