Does Counting Calories really Count?

There are TONS of calorie counting sites, apps, etc on the web. But is it really worth doing? Yes and no. I wanted to start doing it this month just to see what I've been consuming. I started yesterday and holy crap. It's pretty bad. This morning alone, I had already consumed 450 calories on just 2 granola bars and a yogurt. Two things you'd think we're very good & healthy for you. It's kind of mind blowing to see what you take in during the day. Factor that and not working out. People wonder why they gain weight. I have a few more months til I leave for Hawaii. I might as well start now and get to bikini shape. The right way! It does get a little tedious writing everything down but hopefully this will work out.
