I received some really bad news this morning. I lost someone very dear to me due to something that could have been prevented. Lying, drugs and addiction seem to go hand in hand. One tries a drug for the first time, gets addicted and gets caught up in this whirlwind of lies to try and cover up the addiction. This person not only lost their life at such an early age but left us with pieces of an unfinished puzzle. No one knows the final moments that lead to her death, no one knows what she was going through, if she was in any pain, did she suffer? She leaves behind a grieving mother, family and friends. All blind sided by this hidden life that she lead or might have lead. She won't be remembered for her kindness or her laughter. She will always be remembered for being the girl that OD.
